Dwight L. Smith

Dwight joined Robinett, Swartz & Duren in July 2022. He is a lawyer who has provided commercial legal services in Tulsa, Oklahoma since 1981. Until January 1, 2023, Dwight had a diverse commercial practice and devoted a substantial amount of time to helping financial institutions and small businesses negotiate, document and conclude lending and business transactions. He also assisted in the resolution of business disputes, whether through mediation, arbitration or litigation and he further helped clients form and organize businesses and plan for the orderly dispositions of their estates and the administration of estates. Since January 1, 2023, Dwight has limited his practice exclusively to the provision of dispute resolution services as an arbitrator, mediator and special master. Dwight attained and has continuously held the prestigious Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rated designation since 1992 — the highest possible peer review rating in legal ability and ethical standards. Each year since 2014, Dwight has been honored by Super Lawyers in the areas of Business/Corporate or Alternative Dispute Resolution. He has been a member of the American Arbitration Association’s National Panel of Commercial Arbitrators since 2011 and of Dispute Resolution Consultants’ panel of mediators and arbitrators since 2020.
