Caroline A. Lay
Caroline A. Lay graduated from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2024, earning her Juris Doctorate with Highest Honor and obtaining a concentration in immigration law.
During her time in law school, Caroline served as an Articles Editor on the Tulsa Law Review, and she served as the President of immLAW for three terms. In 2024, she was a finalist for the Robert C. Butler, Jr., Award for Excellence in Legal Scholarship and Writing, and she was the recipient of the Dean’s Award for Community Service. Also during law school, Caroline volunteered extensively with the Afghan Resettlement Project 850 and successfully represented a client of the University of Tulsa Legal Clinic’s Immigrant Rights Project in their asylum case.
Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Caroline graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2016, earning her bachelor’s degrees in both Communications and Spanish. Caroline worked in marketing and communications for a number of years after graduation and later on served at a non-profit ministry in Peru before attending law school.
Caroline’s primary focus is general civil litigation.
When she is not working, Caroline enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, playing volleyball, traveling, and volunteering at her church.
